BLACKBERRY
(RUBUS)

Prickly, shrubby plants with long slant or climbing stems and well developed roots. The blossoms are white collected in cluster-like racemes. The fruit is mixed and consists in large number of meaty pit fruits. It taste is sourish and with pleasant aroma. It blooms from May to August.
It grows in forests, bushes, meadows on, foothills and mountain slopes of the whole county. (V-VІІІ)
